The Welshpool Planning and Development Committee voted last night (July 24, 2019) at a town hall meeting to unanimously “strongly object” to the proposed planning application from Frochas Farm to build a 7,200sq ft industrial chicken factory next to Dingle Nurseries & Gardens.
We’ve now had confirmation from Welshpool Town Council about the format of the Town Hall Meeting scheduled for July 24, 2019, at 6pm specifically called for the Frochas Farm IPU planning application. This meeting will be a very important meeting and the council encourages everyone to attend.

Dingle Nurseries & Gardens objected in the pre-consultation stage stating the plan could have a disastrous impact on its business. In addition to this, there are over 30 residential properties located within less than 500m More
